Golf team wins tournament

Ozona—The Ozona Lion Golf Team competed in the Coahoma Invitational Tournament at Comanche Creek in Big Spring.

Your Lions came home as the 1st place team, as well as having the top two scorers. Asa Forehand shot a 72 and Wyatt Bean shot a 76!! This was a big win, and a huge pre-district morale boost for our players. A majority of our district was there as well as numerous 1A-3A teams, which gives the team a good look at what they need to do to win district and compete at regionals and state.
