Alton C. Smith

Alton C. Smith, 82, of Ozona, Texas passed on November 10, 2023 at Shannon Medical Center. He was born to Tony and Laura Smith on May 16, 1941 in Eden, Texas. Alton is survived by his brother Vic Smith of Dove Creek, Texas, his wife Mary Smith of Ozona, Texas, his daughters and their spouses Tammy Moore of Ozona, Texas, Teena and Scott Weiss of Burleson, Texas, Beth and Randy Hamm of Ozona, Texas, and great niece Krystal Murdoch of Eden, Texas, and 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two grandsons. While Alton’s first love was his family, his second love was fishing, and we believe he is reeling in the big ones with his family in heaven. The family would like to thank the staff at Shannon Medical Center, Angels Home Health and Outreach Health Services. The family would also like to show their appreciation to Dr. Marcus Sims and Dr. Gary Nussey and their staff for their care and support. Services are pending at this time.
