Deerfest Appreciation Letter

December 14, 2023

Ozona—The Crockett County Deerfest Association held its 35th annual Deerfest event on Saturday, Dec. 2. What most of you may not know is how many volunteers it takes to make the event such a huge success. We would like to extend a big thank you to all of those who helped, and donated your time, deer meat, prizes, etc. You are what makes this annual event successful.

Many of our volunteers work nonstop during the week of Deerfest and we had a great volunteer turnout this year. Because all of you work so hard behind the scenes, our Deerfest patrons can enjoy the evening. We want to make sure you know all your hard work has paid off and we appreciate everything you do. The response from everyone, both in the community and from those visiting from outside Ozona was phenomenal.

The Crockett County Deerfest Association is a nonprofit community organization that has given over half a million dollars back to the community. There are so many great things we can do around Ozona because of the hard work of all our volunteers. Thanks to you, we will be able to continue to give back to our community.

There are many individuals, organizations, and companies we would like to extend special thanks to.
