Cynthia “Cindy” Rottman

Cynthia “Cindy” Rottman, 66, of Laramie, passed away suddenly on February 9, 2024, at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Sonora, Tx on March 26, 1957, to Tommy Sessom and Martha Walker.

Cindy was a devoted mother to her children. Her grandchildren were the highlight of her life. She married Roger on March 22, 2012. Cindy loved to spend time at the family cabin, taking pictures, and traveling to see her grandchildren once she retired from the Albany County Treasures office. Cindy’s willingness to help others will be remembered in her support of St. Jude’s Hospital, Shriners Children’s Hospital and especially the Epilepsy awareness foundation. She was always caring and supportive to her family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her grandparents J.B. and Ives Swain; mother, Martha Walker; brothers,

Bob and Mack (Vicki) Sessom and Uncle, James Swain.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Roger Rottman; children, Lesa LaFave and Kim (Greg) Chapman; grandchildren, Ivy and Ella Chapman; father, Tommy (Betty) Sessom; brother Jerry (Christine) Walker, and half-siblings Paula (Bobby) Ogle, Kenneth (Regina) Sessom, Keith (Shannon) Sessom; aunts, Margie McNaughton and Shirley Swain; multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend, Cindy (CJ) Autry.

Visitation will be held from 3 – 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Montgomery-Stryker Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Chapman, officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery.
