Samuel “Sammy” G. Longoria

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel “Sammy” G. Longoria. He left us to be with his savior on Friday March 15, 2024.

Sammy was a devoted family man who loved his parents, wife, children and grandchildren. His friendly attitude and caring heart made him a cherished and loyal friend to many.

Sammy not only dedicated his life to his family, but he was also a dedicated Peace Officer who protected and served his community for nearly 30 years.

Sammy is survived by his wife Tara; his children Tim, John, Alexis and Colt; his grandchildren Kerstin and Mason; his parents Rosalio and Carmen Longoria; his siblings Rosalio Longoria Jr., Josie Long, Cristela Pena and Ruth Gonzalez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 10 a.m.

Sammy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
