Crockett County—The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office responded to a variety of calls for service during the week of Feb. 2 through Feb. 8, 2026, including traffic-related incidents, disturbances and criminal complaints.

Incidents:

Feb. 2:
A deputy conducted a welfare check on Mulberry Street. Deputies also responded to a disturbance on Santa Rosa Street.

Feb. 3:
Deputies responded to an open door call on Llano Street and assisted a stranded motorist on Interstate 10. Deputies also handled multiple reckless driving calls on Interstate 10 and Nashua Street, a shots-fired call on State Highway 163 North, a loud music complaint on 14th Street and a suspicious vehicle on Avenue G.

Feb. 4:
Deputies responded to a loud music complaint on 12th Street, an injured animal on Avenue J, a hit-and-run crash on State Highway 163 and a reckless driver on U.S. Highway 190.

Feb. 5:
Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 10, with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety and emergency medical services. Deputies also assisted stranded motorists on Interstate 10 and State Highway 163, responded to a disturbance on Cenisa Street and assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle on Avenue J.

Feb. 6:
Deputies assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle on Santa Ana Street, responded to a reckless driver on Interstate 10, assisted stranded motorists on State Highway 137 and Interstate 10, investigated a theft report and suspicious vehicle on State Highway 163, and handled a loud noise complaint on Avenue B.

Feb. 7:
Deputies assisted a motorist on Avenue E, responded to a suspicious person on Medical Drive, and handled a minor vehicle accident on Interstate 10 with assistance from EMS and fire personnel. Deputies also investigated a burglary report on 11th Street and responded to a business alarm on Avenue E.

Feb. 8:
Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on Sheffield Road with no injuries reported, handled loud music complaints on Plum Street and Avenue E, and assisted a stranded motorist on Interstate 10.

Arrests

Feb. 2:
Edgardo Diaz Jr., of San Angelo, was arrested for indecency with a child and online solicitation of a minor. The subject was arraigned and remains in custody.

Feb. 5:
Phillip Munoz Jr., of Ozona, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury to a family or household member. He was arraigned, posted bond and was released.
 Molly Ann Munoz, of Ozona, was arrested for driving with a license invalid with previous conviction or suspension and no financial responsibility, and assault family or household member with previous conviction involving injury. She was arraigned, posted bond and was released.

Feb. 6:
Don Curtis Elgin, of San Antonio, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, less than one gram. He was arraigned, posted bond and was released.

Feb. 7:
Melanie Arellano-Villareal, of El Monte, California, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, less than one gram, and possession of marijuana under two ounces. She remains in custody.

All individuals listed in the Sheriff’s Report are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
