Jack Bentley

Jack Bentley passed away Monday, June 24, 2024, at San Angelo. He was born October 10, 1939.

Jack graduated from Maud, Oklahoma and served in the U.S. Navy stationed out of California.

Jack moved to Ozona and helped build the Ozona Gas Plant in 1963, where he worked for 56 years.

He married Pauline Maness Bentley on August 31, 1980, and they had numerous adventures together camping, gambling, playing cards with family and loved cooking.

He loved spoiling the neighborhood kids and watching OU Football with his Super-Sooner Chloe.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline, and his parents, Connie and Roy Bentley.

He is survived by his daughter, Terri Bentley Crawford (Blaine Crawford); his son, Travis Bentley; his grandchildren, Heather Price, Chris Curtis, and Hayley Bushart; siblings, Brenda McCollum, Quannah Mann, Shirley Dennis, and Larry Bentley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Lima Cemetery in Ozona. Arrangements by Preddy Funeral Home.
