Herculano Delgado

Herculano Delgado, born February 20 1936 went to meet his Lord and Savior on one of our most Holiest of Days, December 25, 2024.

Herculano was born in Ozona Texas and was a long time resident, raising his 8 children with his loving and devoted wife, Juanita Delgado who preceded him in death. It is very fitting that Herculano went to join Juanita on the day that they would have celebrated 68 years of marriage.

Herculano served his parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church as a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, a Cursillista, Extraordinary Minister, Usher and Sacristan for many years. He set an example to his children and grandchildren that service in the church is a baptismal obligation.

Herculano is survived by his 8 children, Monica Delgado, Carmen Delgado (Duane King), Elsa Delgado (Ramiro Janer), Mabel Delgado, Aldo Delgado (Beylinda), Felice Baker (Jay Baker), Fabian Delgado (Alma) and David Delgado (Grace). He is also survived by his siblings Mercedes Rodriguez, Juan Delgado and Minerva Trevino.

Herculano’s funeral will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Thursday January 2, 2025 at 10 a.m. with a Vigil Rosary on Wednesday January 1 2025 at Preddy Funeral Home at 7 p.m.
