SWCD announces poster winners

Crockett County—The Crockett County Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) recently announced the Annual 6th Grade Conservation Poster contest winners. This year’s theme was “Home Is Where the Habitat Is.” 

Jack Baggett gave the winners their awards. Before the winners were announced, students answered trivia questions and received candy for correct answers. 

Lincoln Morrow won first place. Jose Pedro Rodriguez took second place, and Piper Owens claimed third place. The winning posters were sent to the state office in Temple for the next level of judging. 

When the posters return, Ozona Bank will display them in their lobby.
