Lions’ track season opens with Cactus Relays

Ozona—Both the Varsity and JV Lady Lion track teams started the season as champions in their respective divisions at the Cactus Relays in Iraan. Due to a conflicting baseball tournament, the Lions did not muster an entire team.

"All of our kids' boys and girls did a great job competing. Most of our girls only had a couple of days of practice due to the awesome season they had in basketball, but we ran and competed like we had been going for a while," Coach Jesse Garza said. "We are looking forward to seeing the progress we make throughout this season."  Results:
