Ozona—The Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board (TSSWCB) alongside the Association of Texas Soil and Water Conservation Districts honored Jack Baggett for 25 years of unwavering dedication and service to soil and water conservation through his service as a district director with Crockett County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD). Baggett began his service with the SWCD in 1999.
Soil & Water Conservation Districts play a vital role in preserving and managing the state’s natural resources. These districts work at the grassroots level, engaging with local communities to implement conservation practices that ensure the sustainable use of soil and water. Over the past 25 years, Baggett alongside his fellow District Directors has been at the forefront of these efforts, tirelessly working to protect and enhance the natural resources of Crockett County.
Crockett County SWCD has a longstanding partnership with the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board, an agency committed to supporting local districts in their mission.
